Company Introduction

Beckman Coulter was established in 1997 through the merger of world-renowned analytical instrument companies Beckman and Coulter. It has now become the world's largest particle analysis instrument company. Mr. Coulter, the founder of Coulter Company, invented the famous Coulter principle in 1947, which uses an electric induction zone to detect particle size and number. In 1953, the world's first particle size analyzer was manufactured using the Coulter principle, becoming a classic method for particle counting. In 1958, Kurt Company was established with its headquarters in Miami, USA, becoming a pioneer and * in the field of particle characteristic analysis. Beckman Coulter, a pioneer in particle characteristic analysis instruments, has been dedicated to the research and development of particle characteristic characterization. Since Mr. Wallace Coulter invented the groundbreaking Coulter Principle for particle analysis in 1947, over 7000 reference books on this principle have been published worldwide. Numerous application fields and international organizations use it as a standard for testing particle/cell size and counting. The American ASTM has designated the Coulter principle (electric induction zone method) as the reference method for nine categories of application testing standards. NASA has also designated the Coulter Counter from Beckman Coulter as the instrument for analyzing lunar soil. Beckman Coulter's R&D experts, with their rigorous and professional attitude, have developed a series of advanced specialized technologies and continuously delivered remarkable products to users worldwide: the new generation Z high-resolution particle counting and size analyzer MS3, multi wavelength PIDS specialized laser diffraction particle size analyzer LS series, dynamic light scattering nanoparticle size analyzer N series for multi angle analysis, and specific surface area analyzer. The successful launch of the "Courage" and "Opportunity" Mars rovers under NASA's Mars Landing Exploration Program is attributed to the accurate and precise operation of the rocket boosters. Because if there are fuel particles with uneven particle size distribution, the thruster that operates in an anaerobic state for a long time will pose a danger! Therefore, Alliant, responsible for producing rocket boosters, used Beckman Coulter's LS Series laser particle analyzer as a means of strict quality control of fuel composition to ensure the particle size accuracy of the thruster fuel components (aluminum powder and perchloric acid). Beckman Coulter, which has been in the Chinese market for more than 20 years, has entered the ranks of the Fortune 500 companies in the United States with its large scale, excellent performance, and good reputation. In 2002, Beckman Coulter's global revenue reached 2.8 billion US dollars, with 12000 employees worldwide. All Beckman Coulter's products were certified by the ISO 9001 quality system. Undoubtedly, Beckman Coulter will continue to play a leading role in the field of particle characteristic professional testing with its advanced technology and complete product line. Continue to make more outstanding contributions to the development of global scientific research!
